After Sachin Tendulkar announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19, his India Legends teammate Yusuf Pathan tweeted about his positive report of COVID-19. Now, the former India batsman Subramaniam Badrinath has said that he has tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently in home isolation, making him the third former Indian cricketer from the Road Safety World Series tournament to be infected by the virus in the last couple of days.
Badrinath recently played in the Road Safety World Series in Raipur, just like the legendary Sachin Tendulkar and former Indian all-rounder Yusuf Pathan.
"I have been taking all necessary precautions and have been getting tested regularly. However, I have tested positive for COVID-19 and have some mild symptoms," Badrinath said.
Badrinath also added, "I will follow all protocols and will be isolating myself at home and will take needful action as per advice from my physician."
Previously, Former all-rounder Yusuf Pathan, who recently announced his retirement from cricket tweeted, "I've tested positive for COVID-19 today with mild symptoms.
Post the confirmation, I have quarantined myself at home and taking all the necessary precautions and medication required. I would request those who came in contact with me to get themselves tested at the earliest."
On Saturday, the "The God Of Cricket" tested positive for COVID-19 which he informed all his supporters and lovers through a tweet."I have been testing myself and taking all the recommended precautions to ensure COVID is kept at bay. However, I've tested positive today following mild symptoms. All others at home have tested negative. I've quarantined myself at home and I am following all the necessary protocols as advised by my doctors. I want to thank all the healthcare professionals who are supporting me and many others across the country. Take care of all of you, "Sachin tweeted.
