Kolkata Knight Riders: The Kolkata Knight Riders haven't made it to the playoffs since IPL 2018. Pat Cummins and Shakib al Hasan have been brought back by the KKR. Andre Russel, Sunil Narine, Eoin Morgan, and Shubhman Gill are the big names that can produce an effect for the KKR side. Harbhajan Singh can get a chance in this match has some experience at Chepauk which can prove essential for the team.

Sunrisers Hyderabad: Jonny Bairstow is in great form these days but the last year's performance of Wriddhiman Saha will force SRH to stick with him in their 1st game. Kane Williamson would be a great choice for the middle-order. As Chepauk favors more spin bowling so, Mohammad Nabi could get a role to play in this match. It would be interesting to see which 4 overseas players will be in the playing 11 for SRH.
